Benidorm makes itself widely accessible to tourists, and most travellers have come to its shores comfortably by way of the Alicante International Airport. This airport is 37 miles from the city and there are numerous scheduled and charter flights from all leading European destinations going there. You’ll also be happy to note that the Port of Alicante receives nearly all of the major Mediterranean cruise liners, while the ‘Renfe’, which is the Spanish railway system, connects with this town from points in and around Spain and the rest of Europe. If you’re on the road traveling to this destination, you’ll enjoy the fact that the Madrid-Albacete-Alicante motorway links this region with the heart of Europe, and from Spain’s northern interior, the easiest approach to this area is by way of Valencia along the Mediterranean Highway (AP-7) which is a favorite among Benidorm’s bus coach services.
Travelling to Benidorm by means of air transport is most preferred by tourists but rail, road and sea routes are available too.
