Ronda in One Day Itinerary

Plan a full day Ronda tour trip from Costa del Sol (Benalmadena, Marbella, Malaga, Fuengirola) to explore the grandeur of Ronda.  Many 1-day tours packages are sold at local travel agencies. The services will be provided with knowledgeable guides and they would take you around the impressive structures you can cover within a day.  Most of the tours leave in buses that take you from the main bus station of Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella, and Benalmadena.

Your Ronda day tour would include the visit to Plaza de Toros bullring along with the museum in it. Get to the social heart of Ronda by absorbing the atmosphere of Plaza de España. The next visit would be the natural landmark of El Tajo gorge. Capture some panoramic scenes at the Bridge (Puente Nuevo) and make the most of the day.  If you want to get really nice pictures of the Bridge your best option is to walk down on Calle Rosario and right into Calle Virgen de Los Remedios and into the Jardines de Cuenca (Cuenca Gardens).  This garden has great lookouts from which you can see both the New and the Old Bridge.

When you get to the main town square, you can visit the Church of the Holy Spirit (Iglesia del Espiritu Santo). Towards the eve you would be taken to some lovely eateries where you can taste some local food and wine. You will also be given some time alone so that you can do some self-exploration.

Thus, opting for a proper day tour with the help of the day tour services is much better than travelling through the city on your own. You might have less amount of freedom, but you get to see and know more about the sites you’d be taken to. You get a central pickup and drop location. You are driven through comfortable air-conditioned coaches. You also get to see the Andalusian countryside as you transfer from one site to another.
