EPOC assists SIDS in the Pacific by:

• promoting regional cooperation and knowledge sharing of good practices and lessons learnt;
• providing regional advisory services on economic and social policies, through facilitation of policy development forums and stakeholder consultations, development of draft policies and provision of training tools;
• strengthening institutional capacity through national and regional training courses, regional workshops and seminars on policy preparation, analysis and planning;
• assisting policy implementation through national level pilot projects aimed at human resource development and knowledge building; and
• conducting research on economic and social issues relevant to policy makers.
