Pacific Regional Volunteer Scheme
Call for tender – Design of PRVS

A Pacific Regional Volunteer Scheme (PRVS) is being developed as part of the Pacific Plan and the Pacific Youth Strategy 2010 to support regional capacity building. 

Background
The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) is seeking qualified and experienced people to form a Design Team responsible for the development of a detailed proposal for the establishment and operation of the PRVS and is calling for tender from competent organisations and individuals. 

The design team will comprise no more than two to three specialists with expertise and experience in:

1.             Management of Volunteer programs
            2.             Program design for Volunteer Schemes
            3.             Development and Management of Regional programs
            4.             Development and management of Capacity Building Programs 

Tenders should be formulated in line with the draft Terms of Reference, which can be accessed through the Pacific Plan Website www.pacificplan.org or download the PDF document (100 ko).
 

Applications close on Monday 20 March.  SPC will notify successful candidates by Friday 24 March.  The successful team will be expected to begin work no later than April 1, 2006.
