  • Crop Production (bananas, taro, yams, coconuts, kava, needs assessment, farming systems research for the lowlands and atolls, vegetable seeds and planting materials)

  • Plant protection services (global harmonisation of Quarantine the Pacific Way, response to risks of Genetically Modified Organisms, coordination of emergency response to pests, promoting adoption of sustainable pest management practices, taro beetle research field trials, Pacific fruit fly)

  • Development of Sustainable Agriculture in the Pacific (DSAP Project) aims to make agriculture productive, environmentally sensitive and capable of strengthening the social fabric of local communities in the 10 participating countries covering Melanesia, Polynesia and Micronesia.
