The final version of the Secretary-General's Report, "Five-year review of the Mauritius Strategy for the Further Implementation of the Programme of Action for the Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States", is now available.

The first informal meetings on the political declaration were held on 21 and 25 June, 2010. Inputs from member states to the draft text were presented and will be consolidated by the co-facilitators into a zero-draft text by mid-July.

National Assessment Reports are now available for the Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.

Guidelines for the preparation of National Assessment Reports (NARs) have been sent out to the SIDS countries via their respective Missions to the UN. The deadline for the submission of the reports was 30 November, 2009. Reports will be available on this page as they are received.
