Welcome to MIS.
Management Information System Section(MIS) is one of the four sections that make up the Information Technology Services Department. MIS focuses on Information Systems Support and Development.
USP as a high level institution for learning uses the Banner Application as its corporate information system to facillitate its administrative functions from students admissions, fees assesment to examination results processing, from payroll processing to GL postings and Financial/Accounts management.
Thus our primary role is to provide technical support in the forms of analysis, programming, database administration etc. to ensure that the Banner Application and its Data is available 24hrs a day to USP community of users which is spread across its 12 member countries.
Apart from our primary role we also carry out software development for applications outside the scope of Banner.
