Accessing Class/Network Shares on Mac OS X

On the Finder menu click 'Go' and select 'Connect to Server'

In the address field type the server you would like to access eg. for student class shares address: smb://kula.usp.ac.fj. Then click on 'Connect'.This should now prompt you for authetication.

 

Do not change the workgroup/domain. Enter your laucala username and password and click 'OK'. THis should prompt you to the select the share you wish to map to.

 

Click 'OK' once you've selected the share. You should now see an icon on your desktop.
