Cisco Academy Courses (CCNA)

All Courses are taught by certifed cisco instructors in a fully equipped cisco lab environment. At the end of each semester, students are required to pass 2 semester exams in order to receive a certificate of completion issued by cisco. The first exam is a skills-based exam where students will be tested on their practical hands-on skills learnt through the semester. The second exam test the students understanding on what has been learnt throughout the semester.

Course Materials: All course materials are available through the academy's webservers. Their are textbooks available which maybe helpful however it is not a requirement to purchase them.  

Semester 1: Networking Basics Training Schedule
Duration: 7 weeks

Semester 2: Routers and Routing Basics Training Schedule
Duration: 7 weeks

  • Cisco IOS
  • Router Configuration/Troubleshooting

  • RIP/IGRP Routing Protocols
  • TCP/IP Error and Control Messages
  • Intermediate TCP/IP
  • Access Control List (ACL)

Semester 3: Intermediate Routing and Switching Basics Training Schedule
Duration: 7 weeks

  • Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM)
  • Intermediate Routing Protocols (RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Switching Concepts
  • Switch Configuration
  • Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)

Semester 4: WAN Technologies Training Schedule
