To access the USP network locally and remotely, you will be required to use your domain password. If you do not know your domain password, call the Help Desk and request for one. If you wish to change the current password you can do so.
There are two ways you can change your domain/email password:
- through the Webmail interface by using the Password option
- through Windows (for users who login to the LAUCALA domain), by following the instructions below.
Depending on the Operating System you have on your office PC, the instructions for changing password varies.
For Windows 95 and 98 PCs:
- Click on Start button, select Setting, Control Panel
- Double-click on the Password option
- Click on Change other passwords
- Select Microsoft Networking and click on Change
- Follow the prompts by entering your current and new password
For Windows 2000 and XP machines:
- Press the following keys simultaneously; Ctrl/Alt/Delete
- Click on Change Password option
- Make sure you have logged onto the domain, Laucala, prior to this.
Or enter your username and select the domain Laucala option.
- Follow the prompts for changing password.
