| School of Agriculture (SOA) The School of Agriculture (SOA) is located at the University of the South Pacific's (USP) third largest Campus, Alafua, in Samoa, approximately six kilometres south of the coun- try's capital, Apia. The School shares its campus with the Institute for Research, Extension and Training in Agriculture (IRETA) as well as the USP Centre, which provides academic and administrative support to the University's Samoa-based distance and flexible learning students. |

| School of Humanities (SOH) The discipline of humanities places the greatest importance on the human dimension of life. It is concerned with the cultivation of human potential in terms of values and virtues.

| School of Law (SOL) The School of Law (SOL) is based on Emalus Campus, Port Vila, Vanuatu. It teaches the four-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, the law component of the combined LLB/BA degree, the LLM degree and the sub-degree Certificate in Law.

| School of Pure & Applied Science (SPAS) SPAS is one of the University's larger Schools, with six separate academic Departments as well as a unit, called the Earth Science Programme, which has a mainly geological focus. Students may be admitted into Degree programmes in the School to pursue either single or double majors, leading to the award of Bachelor of Science (BSc).

| School of Social & Economic Development (SSED) The School of Social and Economic Development (SSED) supports the developmental efforts of the countries of the South Pacific through its teaching, research, consultancies and publications. It aims to promote a critical understanding of the complex and multi-facetted development process, and suggest environmentally sound and sustainable development strategies.

| Marine Studies Programme Marine Studies is an interdisciplinary, university-wide programme, administered by the Professor of Marine Studies in collaboration with Schools and Institutes, and with the advice of the Marine Studies Advisory Board.

The University also has an active Pacific Languages Unit, based at the Emalus Campus, Vanuatu and both Marine Studies and Marine Affairs Programmes, based at the Laucala Campus, Fiji. |
