Second Meeting of the Open Working Group on SDGs



The second session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) Open Working Group (OWG) on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is tentatively scheduled for 17-19 April 2013. The session is expected to discuss Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) acceleration, lessons learned, identification of gaps, and moving towards the SDGs. It is also expected to consider poverty eradication, food security and nutrition, sustainable agriculture, desertification, and land degradation.
