Pacific Island Workshop on SAICM

The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM), with the financial support of the governments of Australia, Sweden and Switzerland, are organizing a Pacific Island workshop on SAICM. The workshop aims to provide Pacific Island stakeholders with an introduction to SAICM and guidance on initial implementation, including through the Quick Start Programme. It will also include sessions on the effectiveness evaluation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.
