First UNFCCC Webinar on Long-term Finance

The first in the UNFCCC webinar series on Long-term Finance will focus on approaches to assessing financing needs for the implementation of mitigation and adaption measures in developing countries in the longer term. The webinar will review: methodologies for measuring climate-related finance needs; lessons learned from application of “top-down” and “bottom-up” approaches to climate finance needs assessments; conditions for accurate assessments of mitigation and adaptation finance needs in developing countries; and methodologies for tracking climate mitigation and adaptation financial flows.
