Ad Hoc Technical Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing for Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

In 2011, the Commission decided to establish an Ad Hoc Technical Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing for Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and requested the Director-General of FAO to convene a three-day meeting of the Working Group. The Members of the Working Group, as elected by the Commission at its Thirteenth Regular Session, include, from Africa: Cameroon, Eritrea, Togo, Tunisia, Zambia; from Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indonesia, Lao (People’s Democratic Republic), Thailand; from Europe: Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, United Kingdom; from Latin America and the Caribbean: Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay; from Near East: Iran (Islamic Republic of), Lebanon, Yemen; from North America: Canada, United States of America; and from Southwest Pacific: Australia, Cook Islands.
