50th Session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD)

The fiftieth session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD) will be held from 1-10 February 2012, in the United Nations North Lawn Building (NLB) in New York, US. The priority theme will focus on poverty eradication. The Commission’s main mandate is to advise the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and Governments on social policy issues and on the social perspective of development.
