14 February 2012: The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) has begun the second annual round of consultations among senior government officials in each of its four Sub-regions.

24 February 2012: The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) agreed the details of a US$65 million dedicated Climate Action lending and technical assistance programme funded by the EIB for the 18 CDB member countries.

15 February 2012: The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) announced the 2012 IDEAS Energy Innovation Contest for the Caribbean, which will award up to US$200,000 for projects involving energy efficiency and access to renewable energy in the region.
