6 March 2013: The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) has announced it is implementing a portfolio of Community-Based Adaptation (CBA) projects of over US$16 million, leveraged from various partners and donors. 1 March 2013: The World Bank has announced that 19 awards were granted to young individuals from 14 countries as part of the Voices4Climate competition, which was organized by the Connect4Climate in collaboration with MTV and TerrAfrica. The competition selected photographs, videos, videos, and music about climate change.

11 February 2013: The Low Emission Capacity Building Programme (LECBP) has hosted a webinar that introduced LECBP country teams and other practitioners to an approach developed by the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) to prioritizing nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs). The approach has been tested and implemented in Trinidad and Tobago, Bangladesh and Kenya.
