22 January 2013: The Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) has reported on the conclusion of Acclimate, a four-year project dedicated to climate change adaptation. 18 September 2012: The Third Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum (CSEF III) recommended greater coordination among Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member States in policies regarding energy integration, energy efficiency and the promotion of renewable energy sources.

12 November 2012: The Caribbean Fish Sanctuary Partnership Initiative (“C-FISH”), a four-year (2012-2016) project on the management of 15 community-based “no take” zones or marine reserves in five Caribbean countries, was launched on 9 November 2012, in Bluefields, Jamaica.
