The ICPD regional meeting for the UNECLAC region is expected to take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, from 12-14 August 2013. The conference will identify priorities for the future to prepare for the ICPD beyond 2014 agenda, focusing on ageing and international migration. The second session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) Open Working Group (OWG) on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is tentatively scheduled for 17-19 April 2013.
