14 December 2012: The African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States expressed their support for the UN General Assembly’s (UNGA) draft resolution on a decade of Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) from 2014 to 2024 in The Sipopo Declaration, which was adopted at the Seventh Summit of ACP Heads of State and Government in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea from 13-14 December 2012.

11 December 2012: The Organization of American States (OAS) has announced the 14 recipients of small grants under the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) “Sustainable Communities in Central America and the Caribbean” project.
The winning proposals were announced by OAS Secretary General José Miguel Insulsa at a formal ceremony held at OAS Headquarters on 10 December 2012.

6 December 2012: Naoko Ishii, CEO and Chairperson of the Global Environmental Fund (GEF), announced launch of the Forum on Innovation and Partnership on the sidelines of the 18th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 18) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). December 2012: Comoros, Fiji and Haiti responded to a questionnaire on the development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UN Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform, hosted by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), posted governments’ responses to the 12 questions contained in the questionnaire, which came from 61 Member States and the EU and its Member States.
