11 May 2012: At the 2012 Forum Trade Ministers’ Meeting (FTMM), the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) updated ministers on its trade-related work, including the region’s Traditional Knowledge (TK) Action Plan. Decisions taken by the ministers are contained in the 2012 FTMM Outcomes Document. The FTMM took place on 11 May 2012, in Majuro, the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI).

27 April 2012: A two-day consultation in Nauru was conducted by the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS), the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) and the UN, to map out a five-year national action plan on the economic empowerment of women.
