10 December 2012: The Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) has announced funding for a project on the Bahamas’ second largest island, Abaco, to conserve the lobster population by training fishermen in sustainable fishing practices.

11 December 2012: The Organization of American States (OAS) has announced the 14 recipients of small grants under the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) “Sustainable Communities in Central America and the Caribbean” project.

December 2012: Comoros, Fiji and Haiti responded to a questionnaire on the development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
