In addition to the three sub-regional meetings for small island development States (SIDS) to prepare for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), this interregional meeting is expected to take place at the ministerial level. This meeting will provide a forum for the SIDS of the different regions to discuss their priority issues in relation to the Rio+20 themes, and to develop common positions, strategies and expectations as to the outcome of Rio+20.

Jeddah 30 July 2011 - Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) sponsored the participation of three female students from Dar Al-Hekma College, Jeddah, in the five-day Global Leadership Conference 2011 held recently in Singapore.
The conference was in preparation for the Earth Summit to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2012, which will be attended by representatives from 20 countries.
