In my view, the Green Economy debate must be linked to sustainable development resulting from both a realistic reflection of the current situation and a desirable vision for the future. It should have an attainable goal based on a mutual agreement and should address the need to continue reducing the gap between developed and developing countries while promoting peace, progress and justice for all.
