Three regional meetings will take place in August-September 2003 in preparation for the international meeting to review implementation of the BPOA on sustainable development of SIDS. An Inter-regional preparatory meeting for all SIDS will take place in Nassau, Bahamas, from 26-30 January 2004. CSD-12 is also expected to contribute to preparations for the international meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Mauritius in August/September 2004.
