17 January 2013: The Government of the Cook Islands has submitted a Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action (NAMA) seeking support for implementation to pursue the objective of achieving electricity 100% based on renewable sources by 2020. The second meeting of the Adaptation Committee will take place after the approval of its three-year workplan by the 18th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 18) in late 2012.
