30 October 2012: Irina Bokova, Director-General of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and Jacques Chasteau de Balyon, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius to UNESCO, signed an agreement to formalize a US$20,000 contribution from Mauritius to UNESCO’s Multi-Donor Emergency Fund.
