The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has created this Forum to assist in resolving conflicts related to government environmental measures and trade rules before they progress to more formal dispute-settlement mechanisms, such as the World Trade Organization (WTO). The Forum will consist a panel of experts format where delegates, trade officials and other experts will discuss relevant issues and suggest solutions. It is anticipated that the Forum will be scheduled twice a year....
