17 August 2012: The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) has announced it is transitioning to biodiesel in its fleet of vehicles. The fuel, a mix made from plant sources and diesel, was developed by the Scientific Research Organisation of Samoa (SROS).
