This workshop is organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank. It will address the climate policy of the Pacific region and the importance for national governments to lead the response to climate change and their need to receive support and constructive engagement by development partners. 19 August 2011: Members of the Pacific Plan Action Committee (PPAC), which oversees implementation of the Pacific Plan, have convened under the guidance of the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat (PIFS) to consider the findings of the 2011 Annual Pacific Plan Progress Report. The Pacific Plan is the key strategy for confronting regional challenges.
The PACC met in Suva, Fiji, from 16-17 August 2011.

23 November 2010: The 2010 Pacific Plan Annual Progress Report was released on 23 November 2010, by the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Secretariat, to provide an overview of work undertaken from May 2009 to mid 2010 by Forum Island member countries and the Council of Regional Organizations in the Pacific (CROP) agencies to implement the Pacific Plan priorities endorsed in 2009.
