In 2011, the Commission decided to establish an Ad Hoc Technical Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing for Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and requested the Director-General of FAO to convene a three-day meeting of the Working Group. The ninth meeting of the UN-REDD Policy Programme Board is scheduled to take place in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, on 26-27 October 2012. Pre-meetings to be held on 25 October. The Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) Participants Committee meeting will take place in the same location 21-23 October, and an optional field visit for participants of both meetings will take place on 24 October.
