This workshop is open to one member of civil society from: Cook Islands, Fiji, Indonesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. It is an opportunity for civil society organizations to interact with other colleagues and learn first hand about the Global Environment Facility (GEF) strategies and programs. 15 June 2012: The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), in collaboration with the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji, have provided training to Fiji and Tuvalu biosecurity staff in managing risks related to trade in agricultural products.
