6 August 2012: The UN Development Group (UNDG) has released guidelines for national-level, multi-stakeholder consultations to help define the post-2015 development agenda. The consultations are to be held in at least 50 countries. UN agencies, funds and programs are invited to submit concept notes for consultations by 17 August 2012. 31 July 2012: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has announced the members of the High-level Panel of Eminent Persons to advise on planning the post-2015 agenda. 19 July 2012: Germanwatch launched a website addressing loss and damage caused by climate change, aiming to support Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in calling for action on the issue. 17 July 2012: The Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) organized the Regional Designated National Authority (DNA) Training for Asia, the Pacific and Eastern Europe, which trained representatives of DNAs from the region on specific elements of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project cycle.
