St. Lucia has submitted its Initial National Communication on climate change under the UNFCCC in 2001. In addition, there is the National Environmental Management Strategy (NEMS) in St. Lucia. An Environmental Management Policy and Strategy has also been drafted. To date, St. Lucia has not promulgated any legislation dealing specifically with climate change.
