August 2012: Ministers of Pacific Island Countries have agreed on a regional cultural strategy, titled “Regional Cultural Strategy: Investing in Pacific Cultures 2010-2020.” The Cultural Strategy provides policy guidance for the Pacific, to assist in developing the cultural sector and promoting of Pacific cultures. 6 August 2012: The UN Development Group (UNDG) has released guidelines for national-level, multi-stakeholder consultations to help define the post-2015 development agenda. The consultations are to be held in at least 50 countries. UN agencies, funds and programs are invited to submit concept notes for consultations by 17 August 2012.
