The Seventh Conference of the Parties (COP 7) to the Nairobi Convention is being convened under the theme "Partnering for a Healthy Western Indian Ocean." In partnership with the Government of Mozambique, the Nairobi Convention is organizing this meeting to discuss the implementation of the Nairobi Convention’s Work Programme and preparations for the Seventh Conference of Parties (COP7) to the Nairobi Convention, scheduled to be held in December 2012. The Nairobi Convention area includes: Comoros, France, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania and South Africa.
