1 July 2012: The Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change (PACC) project is addressing water issues in the Marshall Islands by installing water meters and improving the Airport Water Reservoir, the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) has reported. The Majuro Water and Sewer Company, via an agreement with PACC, is funding the Reservoir work and providing 11 bulk meters, a leak locator and a flow meter.

13 June 2012: The Executive Board of the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) released a draft sub-regional programme document for the Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs) for 2013 to 2017. 5 June 2012: The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) has reported that the Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA): Pacific Small Island States project held its first regional steering committee meeting in Suva, Fiji, from 28–29 May 2012. GCCA is a global EU-supported initiative aimed at strengthening dialogue and cooperation on climate change in developing countries most vulnerable to climate change.
