19 July 2012: Germanwatch launched a website addressing loss and damage caused by climate change, aiming to support Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in calling for action on the issue. 17 July 2012: The Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) organized the Regional Designated National Authority (DNA) Training for Asia, the Pacific and Eastern Europe, which trained representatives of DNAs from the region on specific elements of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project cycle.
