16 August 2012: At its 18th Meeting, the Adaptation Fund Board (AFB) accredited the National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development of India as the National Implementing Entity (NIE) for India, and as its 12th NIE. 26 July 2012: The Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) has provided a US$40,000 grant for the Jamaica Maritime Institute Trust Fund (JMITF) to establish a renewable energy center in Kingston, Jamaica.
