In 2011, the Commission decided to establish an Ad Hoc Technical Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing for Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and requested the Director-General of FAO to convene a three-day meeting of the Working Group. 1 July 2012: The Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change (PACC) project is addressing water issues in the Marshall Islands by installing water meters and improving the Airport Water Reservoir, the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) has reported.
