26 October 2012: The Global Water Partnership – Caribbean (GWP-C) and Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) trained 20 participants from the agriculture sector in Barbados in water use efficiency (WUE). 29 September 2012: The Government of Samoa has announced that Pacific representatives have agreed that Samoa will host the Third Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Global Conference, scheduled to convene in 2014, while Fiji will host the preparatory meetings. 29 September 2012: Commonwealth foreign ministers have agreed on a draft Charter and discussed a new strategic plan for the Commonwealth Secretariat.
