COOK ISLANDERS DEMAND LOWER INTERNET FEES
MELBOURNE, Australia (Radio Australia, Aug. 5) - Internet users have called
on Telecom Cook Islands (TCI) to drop the cost of accessing the Internet.
TCI said it would cut international telephone costs, but made no mention of
cutting the cost of going online.
Telecom chief, Stuart Davies, says the company’s service measures up well
against that found in other Pacific nations but could not be compared with
prices in large countries such as the USA.
