TutorialDiscussion Groups
Currently discussion groups exist for BIODIVERSITY, CLIMATE CHANGE, COASTAL AND MARINE RESOURCES, ENERGY, OTHER ISSUES and SUSTAINABLE TOURISM. Also each of the 42 island countries associated with SIDSnet has a discussion group.
- To post a message, click on "here" at the end of the sentence: 'To post your own message, start right here.'
- To view messages already posted, double click on the subject heading.
- To respond to a message click on "here" right above the message
- To subscribe by email, click "I wish to subscribe by email" and fill out the form
- To unsubscribe by email, click "I wish to unsubscribe by email" and fill out the form
- To view another theme or island on interactive discussion, select the theme or island using the scroll bars at the bottom of the page and then click "Go".
Islands
Here you can select an island state for discussion groups, facts and links.
- To choose an island, select it by using the drop down bar and then click "Go"
Search for Documents
Either enter keywords at section 1 and "Start Search", or browse through categories in Section 2. To view the latest submissions, click on "What's New".
Links Search and Submission
Here you can search for links to other websites by either choosing the categories you want to search in or by entering keywords.
- Search: Either select the category you want to browse in by checking the appropriate box in Section 1, or entering keywords at Section 3
- Submit a link: First select the category you want, then enter the URL of the link. In the next bar, enter the title of the link, followed by a description of the content of the link. In the two lower bars, please enter your name and your email address and then click on "Add URL".
News Wire
The news wire offers the latest in news either by Island Region or Island Theme.
- To enter in a specific news wire, click on the title.
- To post a message, click on "here" at the end of the sentence: 'To post your own message, start right here.'
- To view messages already posted, double click on the subject heading.
- To respond to a message click on "here" right above the message
- To subscribe by email, click "I wish to subscribe by email" and fill out the form
- To unsubscribe by email, click "I wish to unsubscribe by email" and fill out the form

Resources
Here you can find information compiled in the form of link lists and databases.
- Site Search: Select the section you want to search in the upper scroll bar, and then type into the lower bar the keywords of your search
- SIDSnet Project Database: Select the country, theme and status of your search and then press enter. For a new search press reset.
- SIDS Experts and Institution Databases: At the sections Training Institutions and SIDS experts, insert the search items by using the scrolling bar and click on "send query"
- Links Database: Write the keywords of your search into the bar in section 1 and click on "Start search" or view the latest links being submitted by clicking on "What's New" in section 2.
